Mpumalanga born award winning rapper Assessa is riding the airwaves with her latest single “Amantombazane”.
Born Lindiwe Skosana the rapper who is known by her successful single Quantum shared that her latest single debuted on number five on all SA music iTunes charts when it was released last month.
” Amantombazane is all about women excellence. It is an all girls party theme song which has a mixture of Kwaito and Amapiano elements,” Assessa said in a statement sent to Timelessnews.
She said the song shows how independent ladies can be while having fun and that you dont have to rely on other people to assist to accomplish your dreams.
Amantombazane has over 17k views on Youtube and has also received air play on national radio stations such as Gagasi FM, Ikwekwezi FM and YFM.
Assessa has won multiple rap competitions since 2014 in order to solidify her mark in the creative industry such as the RedBull 10k Challenge, Back to the City and the NYDA assisted competition from Music Creative in Nelspruit.
