Ha-Ramantsha: On friday the Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) concluded successful Media Colloquium at the serene Kone Boutique Lodge in Ha-Ramantsha. This pivotal event gathered media professionals, representatives from various tourism associations, and the LTA communications team, all engaged in a dynamic dialogue centered on collaboration, transparency, and the future of tourism in the province.

Despite the absence of LTA CEO Moses Ngobeni, the colloquium thrived under the strong leadership of LTA Board Chairperson, Mr. Andrew Dipela. His guidance, along with the efforts of the communications team, ensured robust discussions and fostered a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.

The event served as a unique platform for open dialogue, allowing media representatives to engage directly with LTA officials and tourism association members. Participants shared insights, voiced concerns, and explored effective ways to collaborate in promoting Limpopo’s diverse tourism offerings.

A significant highlight of the colloquium was the official unveiling of the 2025/26 Limpopo Tourism Calendar of Events. This calendar showcases a variety of upcoming festivals, cultural experiences, and signature events designed to attract visitors and position the province as a premier destination.

A well-received breakout session provided attendees with focused discussions between journalists, editors, and tourism stakeholders. These conversations yielded valuable feedback and recommendations on enhancing communication, sharing content, and fostering support between the media and tourism sectors.

“This Media Colloquium was an essential step in building trust and fortifying the relationship between the LTA, the media, and our tourism stakeholders,” stated an LTA Board Chairperson. “Even in the absence of our CEO, the level of engagement and shared commitment to Limpopo’s tourism future was truly inspiring.”

The LTA extends its heartfelt appreciation to all attendees, particularly members of the media and tourism associations, for their active participation and meaningful contributions. The agency looks forward to implementing the insights gained from the colloquium and continuing its collaborative journey to elevate Limpopo as a must-visit destination
