TUT EMALAHLENI FC APPOINTS LUCKY JOGA NKOSI AS THE HEAD COACH.

eMalahleni:TUT eMalahleni FC has appointed Lucky “Joga” Nkosi as their head coach for the next coming 6 months with an option to renew his contract. Joga is a local coach from eMalahleni, he is a former CoalCity Wizard Coach competing in the Hollywoodbets Super League and a former Witbank Shepherds FC coach. The appointment of Joga by the university-based side comes after the club parted ways with their former head coach, Mandla Soko last December.
After 9 of 20 games played, the football club currently competing in the Nkangala Mens Regional League, stream A 2 and they are currently in position 9 with 9 points and 16 points behind the log leaders, Mpumalanga Future United FC. The team is currently not doing well so far as they have only managed to win 2 games, lost 6 games, and have no draws they managed to score 14 goals and conceded 20 goals so far with 11 games to go.
Coach Joga has already lost a match 3 -1 against Vula Vala FC this past Sunday at their home ground, TUT eMalahleni Campus. The boys have an opportunity to close the gap by 3 points this coming Sunday when they face the log leaders, Mpumalanga Future United FC at the Coronation Sports Ground at 15:00.
“I would like to appreciate the TUT eMalahleni Sports and Recreation Department after the application processes and interviews for seeing me fit to lead the team in the current season. My ambitions are to challenge for the league title, we still have 11 games to go but obviously, we are not going to perform miracles, we are going to be ambitious in our goal setting and do what we can. From my side, I will try my best to give the team the best of my knowledge and abilities. The institution has massive goals and a great project ahead of them that they want to achieve, I hope my appointment and my time spent here will assist the team to reach their goals” said Joga.
Coach Joga also appreciated the talent and the potential that his team has and acknowledge that the lads have to work very hard to achieve good results.
The TUT eMalahleni head of sports Mr Ernest Fakude told Timeless News that they are delighted to appoint a local coach from eMalahleni. “After we parted ways with our previous coach for some reasons, we had to advertise the position, we had 20 applicants some from Gauteng and KZN but we felt that we need give the opportunity to coaches around Witbank and the campus is based here so we wanted the empower the coaches around. We are very impressed with the few training sessions that the coach has been doing we are looking forward to a successful season. Our goal this season is to stabilize the team maybe next season we push a bit for number two and the following season we go for position one” said Fakude.
