N12 MULTIPLE VEHICLES COLLISSIONS CLAIMS THREE LIVES SO FAR
Ogies:Three people have been killed on the N12 road between Witbank and Ogies in Emalahleni as a result of a head-rear collission.
The three deceased were all occupants in one of the involved sedans. The number and the severity is not yet determined at this stage. The emergency personnel and law enforcement officers are at the scene, and the road is still closed.
The multiple vehicle collissions were largely caused by reduced visibility due to early morning mist.
The multiple collissions include articulated trucks, sedans, and light delivery vehicles (LDVs).
Motorists are once again encouraged to reduce speed, increase following distance, and switch their headlights on when driving in misty conditions. This is a developing story.
