EPHRAIM MOGALE APPOINTS MAGOBADI ERIC MOROPA AS THE NEW HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION

The Council of Ephraim Mogale Local Municipality had in its Ordinary council meeting of the 31st March 2023 appointed the Municipal Manager, Mr Mogabadi Eric Moropa and Chief Financial Officer Mr Thabo Modisane on a fixed term employment contracts.
Mr Moropa is a seasoned Administrator in local government. He has more than ten years of experience in Local government sphere. He is the former councillor, Corporate Director and Municipal Manager of Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality.
Mr Moropa brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the institution.During his tenure at Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality as an Accounting Officer, he got Unqualified Audit opinions.
He was the Advisor of the Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation prior to his appointment.
He has impeccable academic achievements, he holds Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, post graduate Diploma in Project Management, Masters in Business Administration and currently studying Masters of Philosophy.
Both the Municipal Manager and the Chief Financial Officer commenced duty yesterday.
