Dennilton: Award winning Dennilton born author, actor, entrepreneur and motivational speaker, Vusi Mabena, is breaking barriers in the writing fraternity.
In a very short space of time, Mabena has published his fifth book titled: “Scars and Tribulation of My Journey Volume 5”, a motivational book that aims to uplift the spirit of the reader.
Through his work with pen and paper, Mabena said the latest version of his work is inspirational and teaches the people not to allow laziness and life tribulation to be a stumbling block of what they want to achieve in life.
“The book encourages the reader to have self-belief to familiarize themselves with the hardships of life no matter what happens,” he said.
The 29-year-old Mabena has penned five books in a period of two years and is also the recipient of the Best Poet Award in the International South African Poetry Awards (ISAPA), in November 2020.
“I feel so speechless and running out of words and don’t believe that I have accomplished so much in just a period of two years. To be honest, I never thought It was possible for me to write and publish five books within two years,” he said.
Mabena has promised the readers to expect more encouraging publications in the near future. “I won’t quit anytime soon. My wish is to keep on writing in order to change lives of many people ,” he said.
Mabena said in his latest book, he worked with a young ambitious author, Nompumelolo Mthunzi, who was also very hands-on in ensuring that the project a success.
“It was amazing working with him. My aim is to empower other young up-coming writers to become the greatest authors in future,” he said.
