Jane Furse – In a back-to-school outreach effort, Jane Furse Plaza donated 60 school shoes to two local primary schools on Friday.
The donation, led by centre manager Virginia Mashego alongside Mr Mphele and Piet Komane, provided 30 pairs each to Bonega Madikubong Primary School and Moripane Primary School.
“This initiative is part of our commitment to supporting education and preparing for the upcoming Jane Furse Mmashadi Circuit Heritage Festival in September,” said Mashego. “we care about our community and want learners to start the school year with confidence.”
The heritage festival, which will involve 14 local schools, aims to celebrate cultural heritage and community spirit. an official date for the September event will be announced soon.
Further school donations are planned for next week as part of the Plaza’s ongoing back-to-school campaign.
