Durban – UShaka Marine World’s beloved Wet ’n Wild water park is ready to welcome visitors again on Thursday, after completing crucial repairs and thorough technical inspections.

The park had to close temporarily following the discovery of a technical fault in its water plant system. Management acted swiftly to protect critical infrastructure and ensure that water quality standards were fully maintained for visitors.

Technical teams worked around the clock to repair the system and carry out comprehensive inspections, confirming that all water safety and quality requirements are now fully compliant.

Chief Executive Officer Ndabo Khoza emphasized that guest safety and facility integrity remain top priorities.

“We are satisfied that all necessary measures have been implemented and that Wet ’n Wild is ready to safely welcome visitors once again,” Khoza said. “We extend our sincere appreciation to all stakeholders for their patience and continued support.”

Wet ’n Wild is among the flagship attractions at Durban’s UShaka Marine World, drawing thousands of visitors every year and offering a fun-filled aquatic experience for families and thrill-seekers alike.
