EMALAHLENI– The Ohlanga Cash and Carry shop suspects men, reportedly of white race, appeared at Witbank Magistrate court on last Friday, and remanded on custody after charged for assaulting and kidnapping a 47-year-old man, Vusi Ntuli from Lynville, on last year October.

The three suspects employees from Ohlanga Cash and Carry shop, pleaded not guilty to assault and kidnap cases ,were denied bail by the Witbank Magistrate court. Ntuli was caught by security guards for allegedly stealing two bottles of Nivea body lotion at Ohlanga Cash and Carry shop in Downtown Emalahleni.

According to the report, Ntuli said that he was handed over to the three suspects men who took him to a certain building near the municipality licensing department without informing the police. Ntuli claimed that to have been tied to a fence and beaten to a pulp, “they made me to choose between being killed or had my fingers cut-off,” Ntuli claimed.

He added, “I was being assault by three white men. I was held in the place where there were big dogs. After they finished beating me, they pulled out a knife and firearm, and then forced me to choose between death and having my fingers cut-off. I kept quiet and couldn’t think for a moment. It wasn’t easy to decide and choose. One of them kicked me in the mouth and threatened to kill me. So I chose the knife,”

“ They put my right hand on the table and chopped off my finger. I was in deep pain and couldn’t believe it. My finger was then given to their dogs to feed on it. I swear they were going to chop all my fingers. These whites wanted to kill me. I eventually managed a lucky escape from the cage, ” he said.

Talking with Timeless News on Thursday outside the magistrate court, Ntuli said “ I want to see them thrown to jail, ” said Ntuli.

“I am happy that the law took its course finally, and those whites will remain in jail. They have been denied bail. They should have not taken the law into their own hands. They can’t compare a body lotion to a human finger,” he added.

The three suspects facing the charges of assault and kidnapping were denied bail, remanded on custody and the case been postponed to 16 March.
