Marble Hall: Thirty-two Golf Sport fanatics between the Sekhukhune Caddywise Golf Club, Naboom Spruit Club, Middleburg Golf Club and Witbank Golf Club clashed in the Sekhukhune Golf Development Day Tournament organized at Marble Hall Golf Course.
The matches started at 9am under the Individual Point System (IPS), with each side pitching a player representing them on the field. Naboom started by dominating the matches from the on-set, with their players making the most longest-drives. Sekhukhune Caddywise tried to catch-up using a home ground advantage by the likes of Lucky Malesoene, but Naboom kept on the dominance until the end of the matches. Naboom won the tournament with most of their players leading the IPS, followed by Sekhukhune in second, Middleburg came third and Witbank was fourth.
The majority of individual winners from Naboom walked away with prizes and hampers from various sponsors including McCaine, Toyota and Dr Mahlakwane. Marble Hall Golf Course owner Mr Campbell also contributed the prizes to the winners and Coca cola sponsored the players with soft drinks.
