MEC SHONGWE AND BUSHBUCKRIDGE EXECUTIVE MAYOR TO HANDOVER A RDP HOUSES IN MKHUHLU
Bushbuckridge:Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC Vusi Shongwe together with Bushbuckridge Local Municipality Executive Mayor, Councillor Sylvia Nxumalo will do their part for Mandela Day in Bushbuckridge Local Municipality.
The MEC and Executive Mayor will begin their day with handing over of RDP houses in Mkhuhlu then proceed with cleaning at a nearby illegal dumping site.
The MEC and his entourage will then proceed to a roadblock at an identied route, and later interact with the community of Mkhuhlu at Mkhuhlu Stadium, where he will later hand over whistles to be used to call for help when crime is taking place.
The day will end with a stakeholder engagement where the MEC will interact with role players in the fight against crime.
