MEC MANZINI VISITED MIDDELBURG HOSPITAL TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH CHRISTMAS NEWBORNS AND THEIR MOTHERS
Middelburg:Mpumalanga Department of Health MEC, Ms Sasekani Manzini applauds all Health workers ,specifically the Midwives in all three districts in the province for delivering until now a total of 30 healthy Christmas Babies.
Speaking to the Media MEC Manzini wished everyone a merry Christmas and further announce that the first Christmas baby was born in Tonga Hospital under Nkomazi Local Municipality.The female baby was born today at 00h07.
“ Middelburg Hospital so far delivered 03 Christmas babies and we are here to celebrate the day with the babies and their mothers. We are also proud to announce the is no stillbirth reported so far and this is because we have been doing well in the reduction of the Maternal and Child Mortality rate.Maternal and Women’s Health trends,Child health,PHC utilization, Hospital efficiency and this is really shows we are heading to the right direction in making sure that our people continues to receive desirable health care services.” said Manzini.
