Ga Nchabeleng: The HOD of the LEDT Dr Matodzi Rathumbu was joined by royal members of Ga- Nchabeleng kingdom and representatives from the Sekhukhune District Municipality.

Limpopo Economic Development, Environment and Tourism together with Limpopo Gambling Board and other local businesses such as (Build It) collaboratively donated various items such as trees, food parcels, sanitary towels, building  material and painted the centre as part of giving back to the community.

The HOD Mr Rathumbu said in an interview “We have such events on a yearly basis and today we are at Sekhukhune District and have been part of the centre to assess the challenges they’re facing and today we are here celebrating Mandela day by giving back to them”.

Members of the community came out in their numbers to witness the handover of the parcels and gifts by the department of LEDET led by the HOD, members of the royal authority and local businesses.

The manager of the centre also commended the Department of LEDT for their assistance and involvement in playing their role towards empowering projects catering for people living with disabilities in rural areas.

The kgoshi Kanyane wa Ngwato le Phogole also added that “as the royal council we appreciate efforts made by LEDET, Department of Social Development and Build It Ga-Nkoana, Dr Nchabeleng and local businesses that contributed after they reached out to them as the local authority, this centre help families that have children living with disability”.
