DR PULEDI MACHABA INSIPERES THE NEXT GENERATION OF  DOCTORS

ss to learners during the recent Mpilo Secondary School Top Achiever Awards which  took place recently in Marulaneng Village in the outskirts of Jane  Furse in the area of Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality. Dr Machaba the Chief Executive Officer of Dr Puledi Machaba Incoporated shared the hardships of her meteoric rise to the top of her profession. she highlighted the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving success, ” let me share my personal story so that you can draw strength and find solace from my experience, in pursuit of my Bachelor of Dental Science I knocked on many doors and some doors were shut in front of me but because of the burning desire to succeed I persisted until I succeeded. At one stage the Department of Health demanded me to prove that both my parents were pensioners before they could award me a bursary to pursue my studies. I am here today not only as a paragon of excellence but as someone who knows the hardships of being raised in a poverty stricken household however I was armed with the burning desire to succeed, today I want to tell our learners nothing its impossible that let’s make education fashionable” said  Dr  Machaba. Dr Machaba made a bold announcement that she will be returning to class next year to pursue postgraduate diploma in pediatric dentistry from University of Western Cape on top of the recently obtained postgraduate diploma in Orthodontic from the same institution. Dr Machaba has offered to give  Mpilo  Secondary School  learners Maremele Mosehla and  Phemelo Sekhukhune a job shadowing experience as a precursor to their tertiary studies where they will be pursuing medical studies next year.

Dr Machaba arrived in Jane Furse in 2011 to do her community service for her current employer Limpopo Department of Health. Since  her arrival in Jane Furse she has done lot of of community work which included going to school to educate learners  about the oral dental hygiene.

She reminded the learners about the importance of believing in their dreams,” each and every one of you deserves recognition for the hard work and dedication you have put into your education. The journey to success is not an easy one, and it is often filled with obstacles and setbacks. However, it is through these challenges that we learn the most and develop the resilience needed to overcome any adversity, I want to urge you to never stop dreaming big and never settle for anything less than what you deserve. .” She said.
