Johannesburg– A 25-year-old Brazilian woman has been arrested by the South African Police Service (SAPS) at OR Tambo International Airport for drug trafficking.
The woman, who arrived on a flight from Doha, Qatar, was found in possession of cocaine weighing 10 kilograms and valued at approximately R4.2 million.
Police are currently processing the suspect for a medical examination to determine whether she may have ingested any drugs.
Details concerning her court appearance are yet to be confirmed.
