Pietermaritzburg– Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, a prominent musician from Mtubatuba in northern KwaZulu-Natal, is preparing to release his latest single, “Lengoma,” which has already generated significant buzz among fans and industry insiders.

Known affectionately as “Brada” by his supporters, Lindokuhle began his music career in 2009 while still in high school.

He first performed with the group Crazy Boyz, gaining local recognition before moving to Durban after completing matric.

“I started music in 2009 when I was in high school,” he recalls. “I was working with a group called Crazy Boyz during that time.”

In Durban, he teamed up with Simphiwe Zulu to form Durban Boyz. Their hit track “Kwakutheni” achieved widespread acclaim, earning rotation on channels such as Channel O and Trace Urban.

The music video received high visibility, and the duo reached the number one spot on Trace Urban’s Top 10 Gqomu chart, sharing the spotlight with artists like DJ Tira, Heavy K, and Professor.

“That song became bigger because we even shot a music video, which was on high rotation on TV channels like Channel O and Trace Urban,” Lindokuhle explains.

After relocating to Pietermaritzburg to pursue a Diploma in Public Management, he transitioned into a solo career under the stage name “DUBANE.” In 2019, he collaborated with Icon Music on the song “Welele,” which also attracted attention on major TV channels.

Now focused on his solo artistry, Lindokuhle is set to release “Lengoma” on 24 October 2025, produced in collaboration with Muvo de Icon, Woza Sabza, Msindisi, and Asive Mtsolo.
