Mamphokgo – A somber yet poignant gathering took place on Sunday morning as members of the African National Congress (ANC) Sekhukhune came together to offer their support to Tshepo Digomo during the mourning of his father, Ntate Jim NniDigomo, who passed away after a prolonged illness. The tribute was led by regional Chairperson Minah Bahula, alongside Secretary Mathope Tala, Treasurer Given Moimana, PEC member Bella Kupa, and Spokesperson Sam Uwane as well as other prominent ANC members and volunteers.
The gathering at Mamphokgo village in the Ephraim Mogalesub-region was a heartfelt demonstration of solidarity among ANC members in times of sorrow. Tala expressed the core values of the ANC, emphasizing the unity of the organization. “The ANC has blessed us with brothers, sisters, and parents. That is why we often refer to ourselves as one big family,” he remarked.
Tala shared comforting words with the Digomo family, urging them to lean on each other for support during this difficult time. “As a family, you need one another more than ever. It is essential to remain united and continue supporting each other,” he said.
Members of the ANC, including REC members like Rebecca Lentsoane and Itumeleng Magane, took the time to reflect on the impact of Ntate Digomo’s life and the legacy he leaves behind.
ANC Sekhukhune extended its heartfelt condolences to the Digomo family with the hope that Ntate Jim Nni Digomo will find eternal peace. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
